The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to the community.
SASSA might be rendering services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency said it's alarmed regarding the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SRD SASSA services.
“This is a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office devoted to service the area each day.
